Chicago Architecture Foundation
The Chicago Architecture Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing public interest and education in architecture and design. Studio Blue is frequently called upon to lend our expertise for community-based projects that require design thinking, innovation and management. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with some of Chicago’s finest institutions on special projects.
5 Architects exhibitionThis interactive exhibit for the Chicago Architecture Foundation examined Midwestern buildings designed by 5 woman-led architecture firms. Working as part of a collaborative team that included curators, architects, fabricators, and videographers, we created large rubbery books featuring the work of each firm. The exhibit’s structures, media, and typography explore the collaborative spirit of these firms in a site combining the public and the intimate.
